SELECT Math Workshops

SELECT Math workshops are designed for Boston Public School educators working with middle and high school students in mathematics or in technology. These workshops expose educators to the use of virtual manipulatives in the classroom to support the Connected Mathematics and Glencoe curricula. The 15-hour workshops cover cross-grade level material, created for use in BPS middle and high school mathematics and computer classrooms. Participants who successfully complete the course receive 15 PDPs, 1 In-Service Credit, and an InFocus projection device (pending funding), for their use as long as they remain in an instructional position with the BPS district. The InFocus projectors are currently available for workshop participants through funding from a state grant; projectors may not be available for future workshops. For more information, or if you would like to enroll in a workshop, please contact the SELECT Math team.

Workshops are free to all Boston Public School educators.
