MACBETH
The
drama club’s performance “Macbeth” was such a success. This took place on
May 31st 2007 at 6:00pm. Written by William Shakespeare, this tragedy
play is full of tragic, dramatic, and scary events. It’s so fun and enjoyable
to watch that everyone loved it and so did the actors. Many others had helped
support and create this performance. We also thank them for making this play so
creative and awesome the way it happened.
The
big role, Macbeth, went to Francesca Violich. Lady Macbeth was given to Meagan
Lew. Priyokti Rana played Banquo and the ghost of Banquo. Alyssa Chao was
Fleance and Lian Parsons played both Mac duff and Lady Mac duff. Marcella Caruso
acted as Duncan and Emerson Boone as Malcolm. The doctor and Young Siward went
to Ava Violich. Our three witches are Aiesha Savage, Maggie Yu, and Audrey
Milite. The witches were very witchlike and were played very dramatically. Big
thanks to the backstage crew Michele Li, Shirley Wong, Cecilia Liu, and lots of
others too.
Everyone
really loved the play and here are some of his or her thoughts. Lian says, “I
had a lot of fun.” And I agree if you were any part of it, it must’ve been
tons of fun. Maggie says, “It’s awesome being onstage and backstage. I would
sure miss it.” “I thought it was awesome and it’s one of the best
plays.” Says
