After-school, Monument offers a variety
of clubs, sports and other extra-curricular activities. In the Students
Against Destructive Decisions chapters, students developed a public safety
seat belt campaign. In the Girls Learn International chapter, students
partnered with the Nasra School in Pakistan and presented on public safety
issues at the national conference in New York City. In the Music &
Video Production Club, students write, direct and produce music videos.
As part of the South Boston Education Complex, students participate in
sports and other activities such as the Knights Chess Clubs.

Students are encouraged to participate in the following
extracurricular activities. All extracurricular actives provide for a
well-rounded high school experience and are important components of college
applications and resumes. Monument High School students participate with
students in Excel and Odyssey high schools in all sports and extracurricular
activities. By combining each of the three schools within one common athletic
program, we excel at both the city and state level.
