Monument High School is one of three small schools located in the historic South Boston High School building. Monument High has brand new science labs, a refurbished full-size performance auditorium, state-of-the-art library and newly renovated parent engagement center. Monument High School's talented student body of 380 reflects the diversity of Boston's neighborhoods. Based upon the small size of the school, there are multiple opportunities for students in grades 9-12 to participate in interdisciplinary field trips and activities. Monument's unique public safety focus attracts students interested in becoming lawyers, detectives, criminal psychologists, Emergency Medical Technicians, firefighters, police officers, and other public safety professionals.
