School Parent Councils

Every school offers parents opportunities to have a voice in the school's decision-making process. A School Parent Council, made up entirely of parents, is coordinated in every school by the Citywide Parents Council.

 

Agassiz School Parent Council

The Agassiz Parent Council is made up of parents and guardians of all Agassiz School students. The parent council meets monthly. Notices of meeting dates are sent home to parents and gaurdians with their child.

School Site Council
Parents, teachers, students and community members may serve on School Site Councils to oversee the management of the school and help shape its annual budget. Visit the School-Based Management/Shared Decision-Making web site which coordinates the School Site Councils.

The Agassiz School Site Council meets on the second Thursday of each month from 4-6 p.m..
