9:10 a.m. to 3:25 p.m.

Arrival and Dismissal
The bell rings at 9:10 AM. Staff members will be on
duty to assist students as they arrive on foot, car or bus.
All students should use the door on Centre Street to enter
the school prior to 9:25. After 9:25, students should
enter the school through the front door and check in at the
office.
Please note that there will be no formal supervision of
students who arrive outside of the school before 9:10.
All
students should be in their classrooms before 9:25.
Parents of young children or of those needing assistance may
leave their children at the door or escort them to the
classroom up until 9:25.
K1 through
Grade 2 students who are being picked up at 3:25 will be
dismissed through the front door on Dorchester Ave.
Grade 3 through 5 students will be dismissed through the
Centre St. door closest to Dorchester Avenue.
Students boarding buses will be waiting with staff members
and will leave through the rear Center St. door.
In order to
maximize the instruction of all students, parents should not
be in the classrooms between the hours of 9:25 - 3:25 unless
an appointment has been scheduled.
Please follow the arrival and dismissal schedule so that
your child will be adequately supervised and receive a full
day of instruction. If your child has an appointment and
needs to arrive late or leave early, please send a note or
call the school in the morning. Unless it is an emergency or
arrangements have been previously made, students will not be
dismissed right before the regular dismissal time since
teachers need to ensure that all children are ready.
In order to ensure the safety of all students, please
refrain from calling the school to request alternative
dismissal plans after 3 PM.
*Please note that no one should park in the bus zone,
crosswalk, or other illegal areas for reasons of student and
public safety. Also, please follow the directions of
the police officer assigned to manage traffic at arrival and
dismissal time.
